Please read all directions first before applying:

1. Click HERE to go to the online application. All online applications must be submitted by Sunday April 27th, 2025 by 9:30 pm. All entries received after 9:30 pm will be disregarded.
2. Once your online application has been submitted you will have exactly 2 hours to email a copy of your Financial Aid Award Letter or SAR to: RomeroScholarship@gmail.com and CC: Mrs. Gutierrez-Aviles (exg7561@lausd.net) and Ernesto Rubio (ernesto.rubio@lausd.net) as a confirmation of College Counselor Certification of Eligibility. Failure to submit these documents within the given time slot will disqualify you from the application process.
3. Important! Please write your Full First and Last Name ONLY in the Subject Line of your document submittal email to RomeroScholarship@gmail.com (this helps us filter out your name to match up with your submitted application). Failure to do so will disqualify you from the application process. This is very important. Please do not forget this step.
4. If you successfully followed the directions, met all the requirements, and your application was selected out of the magic hat, you will be contacted to schedule a phone interview with a Romero Scholarship Selection Committee Panel member during the first week of May.

6.  Finalists will be notified Wednesday, May 28th, 2025.
